Scyther Armor Progress

So this is what I have been up to.  Since it was my first time with prop and armor making, I made a lot of mistakes but if nothing else it made for a very good learning experience  

It doesn't look much like a scyther right now, but hopefully that'll change once everything is painted and rest of the costume is made.  

The double bladed staff is not the weapon I intended to make.  It was going to be separate blades but my attempt at making them failed so to save the project I turned them into what you see in this picture.  The problem was partially that the blades were too big and partially the fact that I didn't really know what I was doing    I will eventually remake the separate blades for the costume but that will come later.  The staff will just be a fun extra thing that I have  

I don't know the proper terms for everything, but this picture includes the pauldrons, breastplate, bracers, the back abdomen thing, and armor for the upper arms, hips, knees, shins, and shoes.  I still need to add attachments for all the armor pieces, paint everything, make the leather pieces, the wings, the wing harness, figure out the wig/helmet/scyther head horns, and decide what I'm doing for shoes.
